Spring is in the air and that means time to break out some of my personal favorites.

Spring may have come late to Denver, but for a few months we get to enjoy the beautiful weather and everything else that comes with this amazing season. Here are some tips to get the most out of your wardrobe

1. Button-down shirts over sundresses

Spring is still a little chilly (hello snow on the ground here in Denver!), so it's not quite sundress season. If you're like me and are itching to break out sundresses, layer with an open button down in a complementing color, and you'll have a perfectly spring-appropriate look.

2. Chacos

My go-to shoe. You can wear them hiking, rafting, shopping, and hanging out.

3. Neon pink lipstick

Nothing says spring like a neon lip to brighten those winter blues.

4. Glow

Whether it's natural or done with makeup, a glow is an essential spring accessory.

5. Bodysuits

Like a swimsuit but acceptable for everyday wear. Can be worn with shorts, jeans, skirts, alone if you're really daring....

6. Mantra Bands

Because who doesn't want a motivational and chic bracelet to add to your arm party?

7. Cut-outs

In dresses, in swimsuits, in shirts, in leggings. You name it, I want it.

8. Sun protection

So important! Sunscreen on the face, neck and ears every day to retain soft, protected skin. Add a layer to your body if you're spending extra time in the sun. My recommendation? Download the EPA's app "EPA UV Index" to see how strong the UV rays are in your area, as well as tips to protect yourself from harmful rays.

9. Natural hair texture

Go natural! Spring is the ideal time to let it go. If your hair is curly, add a little leave in conditioner and argan oil for shine, and you're ready to go. For girls with straight hair, apply some sleek oil to tame frizzies.

10. Hydration

Hydration is key! Bring a chic water bottle decked out with stickers that represent you to take everywhere. You'll be more motivated to drink throughout the day, keeping you hydrated and healthy. (See number four for a good reason to hydrate.)

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
