As I was growing up, Spongebob was always the show that I wanted to watch. I loved everything about it, from the quirky characters to the wacky storylines. Now that I have grown up, Spongebob is still one of my favorite TV shows and I can unashamedly quote almost every line from each episode. Even though it is close to impossible, here is a list of the top Spongebob episodes.

1. Band Geeks.

The bubble bowl became more important than the actual Super Bowl. Plus, the lighter scene is still iconic. Also, if you do not know the entire song of the half time performance, then you are missing out.

2. Texas

This episode is full of witty banter about stereotypical Texas things like your "peas in a can pie" or your "barb-e-que." But overall it represents the true value of friendship and that "home" is not always a place.

3. Pizza Delivery

"It's not just a boulder, it's a rock." Honestly, I think we were all Squidward in this episode; sometimes Spongebob can be a little over the top, and that pizza always looks so good. Also, that customer was so rude, I would have thrown the pizza at him, too.

4. Chocolate with Nuts

Everytime someone tries to sell me Girl Scout cookies, I am the fish screaming chocolate. It also teaches you that not everything is what it seems and to be cautious of what you buy because you may not need it.

5. Graveyard Shift

As a kid, this episode scared me so bad. I was terrified to go outside by myself because I thought the hash-slinging slasher was going to come get me.

6. Procrastination

This episode defines my entire school career. Procrastination is a very real thing for me and I will find anything to do besides what I am supposed to, like watch Spongebob. I will stay up all night and hardly get anything done.

7. Ripped Pants

Spongebob ripping his pants is an all time classic. Every Spongebob lover knows this episode and the song at the end is still the best. But who does not want him to stop ripping his pants, again over the top.

8. Sailor Mouth

Watching this as a kid, with an innocent and clean mind, I thought the dolphin noises were just for fun. But now my mind just automatically fills in those blanks and makes me wish I did not have to grow up.

9. Survival of the Idiots

The title of this episode is all you need to know, besides "Dirty Dan" and "Pinhead Larry".

10. Fry Cook Games

The fry cook games are way better than the olympics. They have events like the "chocolate high dive" and the "deep fry pole vault". However, this made it on the list because of the slight mention of cannibalism.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
