10 Signs Your Best Friend Is A Dancer
Hailey Kasper

1. "I cant, I have dance"

The common phrase you have heard just about a million times when trying to make plans with your bestie. They have classes at least a few times a week and on the weekend, but somehow you still make time to hang with each other.

2. You never understand the dance terminology they use.

What even is a Rond de Jambe?? Sometimes you have no clue what they're attempting to tell you about, but you just nod and smile along.

3. Attempting to dance next to them is impossible.

They upstage you nearly every time, (leaving you looking a bit like this) but that's okay because they are workin' it!

4. You've helped them through an injury.

It was bound to happen, and if your dancer best friend suffered an injury you were there for doctors appointments and to anxiously await test results that would say if they can continue dancing.

5. They practice EVERYWHERE.

No matter where they are, their house, your house, the grocery store... They are always practicing their technique. Even when you're not together, your BFF still takes videos and sends them to you to show how much they're improving or how frustrated they are that they can't quite hit it.

6. Their bun is always on point.

Years and years of putting their hair in buns for rehearsals or recitals has definitely paid off. Their bun is always perfect, even when they just throw their hair up. And it always leaves you asking HOW??

7. You've helped pick their music for a solo.

I know from experience that picking a song for a solo is hard work. Well, helping to pick a song. On more than one occasion my best friend has texted me saying "Help! Which song do i pick???" And so I scroll through my playlists or skip through Pandora searching for the perfect music and once I find it....she rejects it. And so I tell her to go find one herself because I just cant be bothered now. But hey, that's what best friends are for!

8. You know and love their dance friends.

It's inevitable that your bestie has other friends from dance. But that's okay, because you have come to know their dance friends, and you realize they are just as great as your best friend is. And when your friend cant hang with you because they're with their dance friends, you're upset, but you get over it...maybe.

9. Going to every recital is a MUST.

Your friend reminds you of them nearly every day leading up to it. They work super hard for these recitals. Getting the chance to see their hard work pay off on stage is amazing and thats the reason you go to all of their recitals or performances. Plus, you love yelling "THATS MY BEST FRIEND! YASSS!!"

10. You will always support them.

It might be a roller coaster of a friendship, but you'll always support their love of dance. At the end of the day they might be crazy, but they're your best friend.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
