There are over 4,800 colleges in the United States. There are 128 college football teams listed by NCAA. Of these, 11 schools are known for something other than touchdowns, trick plays, and pre-game celebrations, and that's fashion.

These trend-gating styles evolve each year and differ from school to school, each with their own unique style. These 11 campuses have mastered the art of crafting the perfect gameday ensemble.

University of Florida - Best Jersey Dresses

There has been the jersey, and there has been the oversized T-shirt, but never has the oversized jersey been executed in such a chic way. These University of Florida fans took it to the next level. Plus, a cute pair of high wasted shorts instead of typical denim? Bonus points.

Penn State - Best Variety

Penn State apparel is plentiful in this college town. The tailgate possibilities are endless with a variety of shirts, socks, and accessories to choose from. This year, the girls have gotten creative with the DIY T-shirt into halter top transformation.

University of South Carolina - Best Use Of Cowgirl Boots

You won't see a girl from the University of South Carolina in a T-shirt and converse on game day. These ladies keep it classy, with a flair of Southern charm, in their cute dresses and even cuter cowgirl boots.

Wisconsin - Best Accessories

Dedication doesn't go much further than wearing a block of cheese on your head. These Wisconsin fans had the most fun with their gameday outfits, because it's all about the accessories.

Ohio State - Best Original Shirts

With their number one ranking, Ohio State has the credibility to back up their confidence. So why wear a shirt that simply says "Ohio State" when you can state the inevitable? Sorry, Maryland.

University of Alabama - Best Dresses

This alum said it best - they dress to impress!

"Alabama game day fashion is a staple of Tuscaloosa; thousands come dressed to impress. The girls choose between jerseys and cowgirl boots, or dresses and heels - they always make sure to coordinate their attire to match the Crimson Tide." - Madi Walsh

University of Michigan - Best Pants

Everyone has a shirt for their university... but how many have the matching pants? Michigan fans are literally game day ready from head to toe.

Florida State University - Most Comfortable

The three C's: comfy, casual, and Converse. Is there anything more comfortable than an oversized shirt? The answer is no. When you're standing at a stadium for hours on end, you'll be thankful for the comfort.

University of Mississippi - Most Likely To Belong On A Runway

Wearing heels to a football game? Now that is dedication. These Ole Miss girls do not compromise their fashion for gameday. Flaunting their school colors, they could go from gameday to runway.

Baylor University - Best Winter Day Accessories

For most universities, the beautiful weather doesn't last too far into football season, but that doesn't mean you need to sacrifice style for warmth (even if you are in Texas) . Learn from these Baylor beauties and invest in a cute scarf, headband, and jacket for when you cheer on your team.

Louisiana State University - Most Unexpected

You won't find a standard school spirit shirt at LSU on gameday.

"Here in Death Valley, tailgates are all about having a good time. Our gameday getups are the winning combination of practical and chic, while always seeming effortless and flawless, just like our tigers." - Lyrica Urzetta

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. "The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
