If you look up cool in the dictionary, I am pretty sure a picture of Mr. Raymond Reddington would come up. Anyone who has seen even just one episode of NBC's "The Blacklist" knows that Reddington is an absolute boss. Though a criminal himself, he fights crime and does what ever it takes to protect others, especially, Agent Elizabeth Keene. There are several reasons why BlackList watchers love this legendary man in the top hat, but here are just a few:

1. He is the ultimate savage.

So Raymond may not be the most ultimate heart throb in his older age, but he sure does look super cool when he is fighting crime. Raymond knows how to scare the life out of criminals- maybe that is because he is a criminal himself! Not to mention, he knows how to escape the most impossible situations.

2. His super classy wardrobe.

If he is not wearing his sunglasses and fedora, is he even Raymond Reddington? Raymond's classy style is apart of who he is. There has never been a time in Blacklist history when Raymond Reddington was under-dressed.

3. He knows how to love.

Raymond may be a dangerous criminal, but she sure knows how to love. We still don't exactly know, Reddington's relationship with Elizabeth Keen, but we do know that he loves her. Reddington has done whatever it takes to keep Elizabeth safe, even if that means risking his own life. He is always her shoulder to cry on and cherishes her happiness.

4. He knows EVERYONE.

I guess they are right when they say "everybody loves Raymond!" Okay that was a bad joke, but literally everyone loves Raymond Reddington. It seems like every person Reddington visits has had some kind of past with him based on the hugs they give him and the nicknames they call him. Sometimes I even wish I was as popular as Reddington.

5. He has the best stories.

Just about every Reddington story starts off with, "I was once in..." the man knows everyone and has literally traveled everywhere. He never runs out of stories to tell. Whether sitting down at dinner or in the face of death, its always story time when it comes to Reddington.

6. His squad is awesome.

Dembe, Mr. Kaplan, the guy with the pony tail- now this is what I call squad goals. As if Reddington wasn't cool enough by himself, he has the coolest team that has his back. Dembe is a man of few words, but what he does have to say is always golden. I don't think we will ever fully figure out Mr. Kaplan, but what we do know is that she may be creepy, but she is awesome. No one really knows the guy with the pony tail's name, but he always pops up in important parts to save the day.

7. He has high standards.

Red wants nothing but the best. He wears the best clothes, has the coolest car, and eats at the fanciest restaurants. He doesn't settle for mediocre, he wants perfection, even if that means getting it illegally.

8. His sarcasm.

Raymond may have several serious moments, but the majority of the time, he is quite the comedian. His sarcasm seems to come out when in the office of Clark Middleton aka, the little guy. Reddington is one of those people who just tells it like it is, and often times what he has to say makes viewers laugh.

9. His ability to stay calm in the most dangerous situations.

Reddington's ability to stay completely calm in any situation could be what has kept him alive all of this time. He knows how to calmly talk his way out of a sticky situation even when someone is holding a gun to his head. There have been few times throughout the series when Reddington seemed to be anxious, and those times seem to be when Elizabeth has been involved.

10. His honesty.

Raymond may be holding back significant information, but he never seems to lie. He is a man of loyalty. Throughout the whole show so far he has always kept his word. What is interesting however, is that Reddington told Elizabeth that he is not her father. As the relationship between him and Elizabteth unfolds throughout the show, we will see if Reddington was truthful or lying when it comes to this important information.

If there is one thing that Reddington is, it is a mystery. In each episode viewers continue to find out who this man is and what his story is. The more we find out about Reddington, the more we come to love him and all of his crazy qualities. He may be a criminal, bit Mr. Reddington is hard not to love. There is so much more to be revealed about this crazy character. Viewers continue to watch to figure out who exactly this man is.
