10 Reasons Why Dogs Are The Greatest

If you are a dog lover, like me, then you understand the need to go up to every single dog you see and pet it. There’s just something about them that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Please enjoy this list of how dogs are the greatest of all time. If you are a cat lover, then please don’t bother continuing. Sorry nothing personal or anything, but we can’t be friends anymore.

1. They are our best friends.

Dogs are never going to leave our sides. They will be there for us for the happy, sad and life-changing moments. They will always love us, no matter what.

2. They know when we are upset, and attempt to cheer us up.

I don’t know how they know, but they know. If we are sad, they are the first ones to come snuggle up next to us, or lick our face (eww).

3. They are protective of us.

It always makes me feel safer being home alone, knowing that my dog growls at the slightest sound, even if it is just a June bug.

4. They are always excited to see us, no matter what.

“What? You were only gone for five minutes? It seemed like a lifetime! I missed you so much!” -dog

5. They are adorable.

How can you not love that face? You have to admit they are pretty dang cute.

6. They love people.

If they deem you safe, you better believe they're going to jump on you and give you bunches of kisses.

7. They're smart.

"How on earth did you just do that?"

8. They enjoy the simple things in life.

Nothing will make your dog happier than a walk, car ride or treat.

9. They're goofy.

“Why are you making that face? What are you doing? You weigh 60 lbs., you cannot fit on that tiny dog bed."

10. We can actually learn a thing or two from them.

Dogs love us, no matter what size, shape or color. They appreciate the little things and just enjoy life to the best of their ability.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
