Queen are a British rock band that formed in London in 1970. Their classic line-up was Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon. They are a rock icon and are making a comeback in this and the next generation because of the hit movie Bohemian Rhapsody. They created so many songs it takes hours upon hours to listen to all of them. Here is a compiled list of the best and most unique Queen jams.

1. "Bohemian Rhapsody"

This song is a classic. If you don't jam to it when it comes on the radio then you are an alien. The 5:55-long song has so many layers and WTF moments that you can't help but sing along.

2. "Radio Gaga"

This song has a message that skims the surface. The beat keeps the song light hearted, but if you actually listen to the lyrics your world just might change. "Don't become some background noise" indeed.

3. "Bicycle Race"

This song is so weird that you have to love it. Listen to it a couple of times and it will be stuck on your head for days, trust me. This is one of those songs that you just have to hear to believe.

4. "Somebody to Love"

If you are like me, the first time you heard this song was when Anne Hathaway graced our screens as Ella in "Ella Enchanted." And while she killed it, nothing compares to Freddie Mercury. Don't believe me? Go ahead and look it up on YouTube, I dare you.

5. "I Want It All"

This is a song to make you motivated. The first beat passes through your speakers and you are ready to go. You can't help but sing along.

6. "I Want to Break Free"

The song itself is good, so good. But you won't appreciate it as much as you can until you have seen the music video for it. Once you do you will,

a) scream and

b) join the Rogerina bandwagon. It's a guarantee.

7. "We Will Rock You"/"We Are The Champions"

These songs are put together in this list much like they are when played on the radio. These songs will grace stadiums until the end of time. You can't help but clap along as you listen. It is a classic.

8. "Killer Queen"

This song is a masterpiece. There are no other words to describe it. The lyrics and beat are so catchy you can listen to it over and over again, I speak from experience.

9. "The Great Pretender"

This song is amazing because of the fact that it perfectly describes Freddie Mercury. While on stage he put on a facade to hide his insecurities in such a way that only a few people were able to know the real him.

10. "The Show Must Go On"

Giphy

This is another song that can get you off your butt and moving to what needs to be done. It is such a beautiful song that speaks so much truth for the men in Queen, especially in the last few years of Freddie's life.

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
