Currently on tour, Panic! At The Disco has been creating music for the past ten years. Despite losing a significant amount of members and changing their sound numerous times, the band was able to stay relevant and high on the charts throughout the years. Although they were successful as time went on, some songs didn't get recognition they deserved. Here are a few that have really made an impact on today's generation.
10. "Golden Days"
"Forever younger growing older just the same."
From their latest album, "Golden Days" portrayed the uniqueness of the band and how they changed their sound from pop punk to soul and swing.
9. "Hallelujah"
"All you sinners stand up sing hallelujah."
This was the first song to be released from their latest album, "Death Of A Bachelor." The interesting thing was the band didn't plan on making an album. But since the song became so popular, they decided to give the fans more.
8. "Girls/Girls/Boys"
"Pose, you've gotta save your reputation."
This was a breakout song due to its message. The band is big on equality for everyone and portrayed it successfully through this tune. Panic! At The Disco believes that love is love, despite your background or beliefs.
7. "Vegas Lights"
"We're swimming with the sharks until we drown."
Since the band originated from Nevada, it was interesting to see them write a song based off their hometown.
6. "Time To Dance"
"She didn't choose this role, but she'll play it and make it sincere."
This brought a soft EDM spin to their first album. From soft beats to disco riffs, Panic! At The Disco experimented with their sound, wanting to break boundaries with their debut songs.
5. "LA Devotee"
"You've got two black eyes from loving too hard, and black car that matches your blackest soul"
Off their latest album as well, "LA Devotee" was a brighter song to appear as one of the tracks. Along with the tune, they also came out with a music video that matched the vibe of the song.
4. "This Is Gospel"
"Don't try to sleep through the end of the world and bury me alive, because I won't give up without a fight."
This song truly showcased Brendon Urie and his vocal abilities. First starting off soft, the chorus is powerful and abrupt.Because he is the only original member left of the band, he was able to pick whatever sound he wanted to portray with his music.
3. "Nicotine"
"I taste you on my lips and I can't get rid of you."
A bop that is full of analogies. This catchy song was edgy and put Panic! At The Disco on a new road, moving them from pop punk to pop rock.
2. "Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off"
"Exchanging body heat in the passenger heat."
This song is filled with adulterous ideas and sexual innuendos. But despite its promiscuous message, it is upbeat and extremely catchy. Coming from their first album, this defined the band's style when they were younger and new to the music business.
1. "Ready To Go (Get Me Out Of My Mind)"
"You've got these little things, you wanted something from them, you either get it or guess you don't."
This song should've easily made the mainstream top 40 radio, but it, unfortunately, didn't. "Ready To Go" showed the playful side of the band and how versatile they are with their sound, despite losing band members.
