Yeah, we're sick of 'em, but every year it never fails that someone will post about one of these resolutions on their Facebook page.
1. Getting In Shape
You can almost sense the New Years' arrival when you begin receiving emails about gym memberships and great deals. The new year means a new you and what better way to prove it than buy getting in shape.
2. Eating Healthy
That's right - we are cutting out all the carbs. We are quitting cold turkey and we are never going back. Or at least you say that during the first week, but then the sugar cravings and yearnings for carbs sets in. Its not a new you, its a junk food deprived grumpy you.
3. Giving up (Insert Vice Here)
Smoking, drinking, gambling, etc. You name it, they are giving it up.
4. Ending Procrastination
Every college kids probably chooses this as their resolution. Because, why do your essay when the new season of House of Cards comes out in the spring of 2016?
5. Starting A Diet
This goes with eating healthy but not all diets are healthy. This goes out to the individuals who believe in a diet consisting of salmon, pine nuts, and the energy of the cosmos.
6. Getting Out of Debt
Everyone's bank account is hurting during these hard economic times. A new year is the "perfect" opportunity to make a change. If this is your resolution, I wish you luck.
7. Losing Weight
We do live in the age of obesity, the problems is keeping the motivation to actually lose the weight.
8. Getting Organized
2016 = the year where I figure out what my major is, where I want to work, and how to get out of debt all while wearing matching underwear.
9. Finding True Love
Yes I know people have actually kept true love as their resolution. The problem with this is love is not something you can plan, or force to happen in the coming year.
10. Getting off Social Media
For our social media addicted friends - maybe its time to experience the real world and not just the cyber world.
