Top 10 New Years Resolutions

Christmas has passed and the New Year is just around the corner and this means that everyone is coming up with new years resolutions that they will have either forgotten about it or given up on by February, March for those of us who are feeling more ambitious. Here is a list of New Years resolutions that we have all tried at one point or another.

1. Focusing on yourself

I think it's safe to say that everyone needs to focus on themselves sometimes, and no matter how hard we try we also find ourselves knee deep in someone elses problems.

2. Eating Healthy

After lots of pasta and gingerbread, we all try and focus on this one.

3. 4.0

Everyone is capable of getting one, but after February our grades start looking like this.

4. Falling in love

This is for anyone who downloads tinder on January 1st and deletes it on January 2nd

5. To keep your checking account positive

Wouldn't it be nice to able to spend more than $10 without checking your account first?

6. Spend more time with your relatives

It's nice to remind your family how much they mean to you

7. Time Management

What is free time and where do we find it?

8. Stop Obsessing

I think it's safe to say that we all obsess over things that really dont deserve obsessing sometimes

9. Cut down on technology

.

I wonder what it was like before texting? You know, back when people would actually have conversations in person.

10. Go to the gym

**gets gym membership in january** **Cancels gym membership in February***

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
