Top 10 Netflix Shows to Binge Watch

It's that wonderful time of year where midterms are two weeks away and not present in our minds so we instead procrastinate all of our homework by our favorite activity: binge-watching shows on Netflix. Here are ten shows that are perfect for binge-watching.

1. "Friends"
Ever since "Friends" made its premiere on Netflix, everyone has spent at least one day binge-watching this '90s classic. If you haven't, you're lying to yourself and everyone around you. We all need a little Chandler Bing in our lives.

2. "New Girl"
Even if you don't like Jessica Day, you can't help but love her roommates. Schmidt, Winston and Nick are the friends and roommates you wish for.

3. "Breaking Bad"
Heisenberg. That is all.

4. "Gilmore Girls"
Everyone needs a little bit of fast-talking, coffee, and Gilmorisms in their lives.

5. "The Office"
Whether its Michael Scott screaming "I DECLARE BANKRUPTCY" or Jim pulling a prank on Dwight, you're gonna find yourself laughing until you cry at every episode.

6. "Parks and Rec"
Similar to "The Office," you will laugh at every episode of Amy Poehler's show. I recommend binge-watching season 3, the season where Ben Wyatt and Chris Traeger, a.k.a. Adam Scott and Rob Lowe, take their place in Pawnee. Also, Ron Swanson on Snake Juice is the only image you need in your life.

7. "Grey's Anatomy"
You will feel like a trained doctor after watching two seasons of this show. You'll find yourself diagnosing your friend's cold as something much more serious that would require an operation because you are ready for that.

8. "One Tree Hill"
If you're ever feeling nostalgic about high school, One Tree Hill is the perfect show to watch to take you back to those days of simplicity. You will find yourself as invested in the Ravens as the rest of the cast and you WILL shed tears many times.

9. "Orange is the New Black"
If you really haven't given this show a chance by now, then just move on.

10. "Gossip Girl"
You know you love me, XOXO Gossip Girl.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

The Belchers hold the key to a better life.

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
