Now that the semester is almost over, people everywhere are going to have so much free time on their hands, they're not going to know what to do with themselves. There will be no classes or studying to do, so most people will probably fill that free time with Netflix. If you have already binge-watched the classic shows like 'Friends' and 'The Office', don't stress because there are so many good shows on Netflix, that are Netflix originals, you'll have plenty of shows to watch. Here are my top ten shows on Netflix that will have you staying up all night binge watching:

10. "Love"

This rom-com will have you laughing away, while it pulls your heart strings. This show is about two unlikely people who go through the ups and down of a relationship. This show has all the features of a classic rom-com, but the relationship between the two characters is unique and quirky.

9. "Narcos"

This show follows the life of Pablo Escobar, so what can be more awesome than that? It focuses on the characters and America's war on drug. This is show will make you stay up all night wanting more.

8. "The Crown"

Beautifully, this shows demonstrates the early reign of Queen Elizabeth the second. Everything about this show is beautiful, the costumes, the set, and the people. If you love drama, this is the show for you. It is filled with extravagant conflict that will keep you on the edge of your seat, (or bed), the entire time.

7. "13 Reasons Why"

Another drama, 13 Reasons is a great show. If you're anything like me you will be staying up watching all thirteen episodes in one night. The main character Clay is listening to tapes that a dead girl recorded the day before she committed suicide. Hannah Baker, tells Clay through thirteen tapes why she decided to take her own life. This show does a wonderful job at showing the intensity of the situations Hannah is being put through.

6. "House of Cards"

If you want a show that you can watch for a week straight, this is the one. "House of Cards" has four seasons of political drama. I mean it has THE Kevin Spacey in it, so it has to be great right?

5. "Orange is the New Black"

The new episodes are coming out in June, so now is the time to catch up on past episodes and relive the lives of Piper Chapman, and the rest of the inmates. If you haven't seen this you must have been living under a rock for the past three years, because this show is amazing.

4. "Master of None"

Being a huge Parks and Rec fan, Aziz Ansari breaks out of his Tom character and into something even better. This show is hysterical and shows the awkwardness of modern dating.

3. "Marvel's Daredevil"

If you love action movies, and comics this one will be perfect for you. The series does not stray too far from the comic and shares the same concepts throughout.

2. "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt"

This comedy is unique. It follows the life of Kimmy Schmidt, who was kidnapped and lived in an underground bunker a majority of her life. Kimmy's positivism and attitude will have you rolling on the floor laughing.

1. "Stranger Things"

By far the best Netflix original, "Stranger Things" is great. I cannot even explain it, you just have to watch and experience it yourself.

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.

The winters at Kent are brutal, and while the heated sidewalks and some great snow boots are always a help, there’s no chance you won’t bust it on the ice at least once in your four plus years at school.

Christmas is literally so close. We can almost taste it. But there is just one thing standing between you and the big day: FINALS. It's not the studying, lack of sleep, last minute cram sessions or crappy food intake that is the worst... but the fact that you cannot focus because, well, CHRISTMAS. How do professors expect you to focus when Christmas is soooo soon. For all my fellow Christmas lovers out there, I feel your pain.

One of the most dreaded places on campus is the library. Nothing awesome ever happens here. Usually, the only reason you're here is because you've procrastinated so long that the library is the only place you'll actually get stuff done. It gives you this feeling of sadness and impending doom. You have no idea how this is going to go or how long you'll be here, but you do know it is about to be the most excruciating experiences yet. But it has to get done, so you drag yourself to the lovely library.

Deciding on a goal can be hard, unsure of what to change for this new year. A new goal for myself is to be happier and take care of myself more. I am a very driven person; so driven that I commit to a million and ten things.
