1. The Kardashians

The Kardashians take on fashion week. Showing up to the Kanye West Yeezy Season 3 show at Madison Square Garden in their matching fur and sparkles.

2. Gaga

Lady Gaga surprised us all as she strutted down the runway at the Marc Jacobs show.

3. Unique Runways

This year featured runways like we have never seen them before. Hood by Air featured their models dramatically charging up and down the air at Moynihan Station.

4. Metallic

So many designers, new and old, experimented with metallic. Jumpsuits, pants, tops and dresses.

5. Party party

Attending the Klein party? There is no better excuse to rock the signature bra and underwear, even on the coldest night of the week.

6. Performances

Unconventional runways are taking over the Fashion week experience, but now performances too? VFiles opened with a drum line band and closed with a performance from Tyga.

Traditionally, fashion week gives consumers a preview of what is to come next season. This year designers such as Ralph Lauren had a different idea. Clothes that were on the runway this past week were already in stores for this fall/winter season. Tommy Hilfiger, Rebecca Minkoff and Michael Kors did the same thing. They are feeding into demand for instant gratification. So right after seeing the show, consumers can go right to the store and buy what they saw on the runway. With this new notion, runways were filled with looks that fit in any season.


8. Libertine

While designers are breaking away from the norms of Fashion Week, Libertine's exciting new collection was presented in the form of a protest. Definitely an eye-grabbing show.


9. Genderless

Fashion has no limits. Women in menswear appeared in many runway shows. We will be seeing more of this popping up in the fashion industry soon.


10. Sorry Kanye

Reports on Page Six tell us that Kanye had an "epic tantrum" Saturday night. After the show, Kanye West Yeezy Season 3, announced he is currently in $53 million dollars in debt and made a plea to Mark Zuckerberg to invest in his company. To make matters worse, Anna Wintour was photographed at his show, looking like she could care less about the un-entertaining performance.
