Okay, so everyone is really freaking out about Avengers: Infinity War Part I and Black Panther, including yours truly. So to celebrate the fact that two awesome movies are coming out, let me present a list of the best Marvel Cinematic Universe characters. (Haters don't hate).

1. PRECIOUS LIL' SUNSHINE (aka Steve Rogers).

Okay, I may be biased but c'mon. Steve Rogers is literally sunshine. He was my immediate favorite. I may have seen Iron Man first but I never got into Tony Stark. I immediately connected with Steve in his first Captain America movie. I love what he stands for, peace, doing what's right and many other things. I know some people hate Steve after the events of Civil War and while I agree Steve was not completely in the right, I will fight anyone who trash talks Steve Rogers.

2. PRECIOUS LIL' BEAN (aka Sam Wilson).

I was warned before I saw Captain America: The Winter Soldier. I was told, "Beware, you will come out of the theater loving someone other than Steve." I scoffed and saw it and lemme tell you, they were right, although they were referring to Bucky. I immediately fell in love with Sam Wilson (how can you not???) and he rose up on my list as I saw his loyalty to Steve shine throughout the movie. I honestly will never forgive Tony for hitting Sam with his repulsors (Point blank) after watching Rhodey fall. Sam Wilson is a precious badass bean who must be protected.

3. PRECIOUS LIL' KICK A** BEAN (aka Natasha Romanoff)

I will admit this, I was not a big fan of the Black Widow when she first appeared in Iron Man 2. I was confused whether or not she was trying to help or hurt. After that, however, she grew to be one of my faves. I love how she embraced her feminity and her bada**ery. Her female gender was not a weakness but a strength. Later in the movies, I loved how she showed emotion, proving that bada** women feel too (although I like to ignore how much Joss Whedon butchered her character in AOU). I would literally take a bullet for her.

4. PRECIOUS LIL' BEAN (aka T'Challa).

Honestly, I loved him since the moment I saw him in Civil War. He's amazing. He's a complete bada** and is not just a one-dimensional character. T'Challa totally deserves a solo movie (actually, can we get a trilogy please??). I am super stoked for Black Panther in February and it's about damn time we got a black superhero. T'Challa deserves everything and anything in the world. I will literally fight anyone who disrespects him, try me.

5. PRECIOUS LIL' SUNSHINE BEAN

Thor has never been a favorite of mine until recently. That is the truth. While I enjoyed his first two movies, I never got into them as much as I did Captain America and others. I enjoyed Thor as a character and thought he was absolutely adorable but not a huge member of the team. That all changed when I saw Thor: Ragnorak. I saw this movie with a friend of mine and I was laughing the entire time. Never have I ever had such a great time watching a Marvel movie. I loved Thor in this movie and it has propelled Thor into one of my faves.

6. PRECIOUS LIL CINNAMON BUN THAT COULD KICK YOUR A**

I decided to give this Marvel movie a chance after hearing the reviews on it. I was intrigued, I'm not usually a space person (I haven't seen Star Wars and have seen only the two Star Trek movies) but I wanted to give this movie a try. I am so glad I did. This movie showed me the beauty that was Gamora. She was a kicka** and sassy woman in this movie who took no man's sh*t. I loved it. She can be gentle when need be and kick your butt the next. GOTG Vol. 2 just reaffirmed that love. God bless Gamora.

7. PRECIOUS LIL CINNAMON ROLL WHO DESERVES THE WORLD (aka Peter Parker)

He is a recent fave since I waited until after Spiderman: Homecoming came out on DVD. I got the movie for Christmas and was instantly drawn to Tom Holland's Spider-man. Finally, a Spider-man that actually felt like a teenager and was perfect for the role. Peter Parker in this is absolutely adorable and just wanted to wrap him in my arms and protect him from the world. Peter Parker deserves the world.

8. PRECIOUS 80s NERD (aka Peter Quill)

I was not expecting to love Peter Quill as much as I do and I have Chris Pratt to thank for that. He played Peter Quill perfectly, with the right amount of charm, arrogantness, and snark. I loved it. This character makes you laugh but also makes you tear up with his tragic past. His love for his mom and then his made up family is awesome and makes him amazing. Peter Quill deserves the galaxy (haha get it?).

9. PRECIOUS BADA** BEAN WHO DESERVES MORE (aka Bucky Barnes).

I saw Bucky in the first Captain America, liked him. Saw him in Winter Soldier, grew to love him. Saw in Civil War: MY PRECIOUS BABY WHO IS TRYING TO BUY SOME PLUMS. Honestly, I totally understand the hype with this man. It may have taken me some time to hop on the Bucky train but I AM NEVER LEAVING IT. This man has had so much happen to him and he is still a precious cinnamon roll. A cinnamon roll that could kill you.

10. PRECIOUS BEAN THAT COULD KILL YOU (aka Valkyrie).

Honestly, one of my fave characters to come out of Thor: Ragnorak. I loved her the entire movie!!! She was sassy, took no sh*t and was vulnerable when it came down to it. I also liked how she took none of Loki's sh*t and befriended Hulk. She is a certified bada** in my opinion. I hope to see Valkyrie in more Marvel movies.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
