10. Chicago Bears (NFL)
The history behind the Bears uniforms is wicked interesting. The team founder, George Halas, borrowed the navy blue and orange from his alma mater, University of Illinois. The jerseys have stayed the same ever since, and they have been worn for around 95 years, including one Super Bowl victory.
9. Green Bay Packers (NFL)
Haha, this is ironic because the Packers and Bears are rivals, but anyways. The green and gold have been the staple of success and consistency from Bart Starr to Brett Farve to now Aaron Rodgers.
8. New England Patriots (NFL)
Okay, the Patriots were the laughing stock of the NFL up until the Tom Brady era in the early 2000's. But, since 2000, the classic red, white and blue has won four Super Bowls and been home to 10 AFC Championship games (probably 11 in two weeks).
7. Chicago Cubs (MLB)
The most beloved losers? No more! The classic pinstripes with the red C inside a blue circle is so iconic. Those jerseys have seen some serious tears. Tears of sadness, and, of course, joy.
6. Boston Celtics (NBA)
Larry Bird, Bill Russell, Bob Cousey, John Havlicek, Paul Pierce... 17 NBA Championships! There is no way that 'greatness' is not the first thing you think of when you see the green and white.
5. Boston Red Sox (MLB)
This uniform may be my personal favorite. The simplicity of just a white jersey with the red lettering really is so iconic. From players like Ted Williams and Jim Rice to the new star of Mookie Betts and the beloved David 'Big Papi' Ortiz. That uniform will always be known.
4. Detroit Red Wings (NHL)
The Red Wings adopted their name in 1932 along with the logo of wings attached to a tire. The red jersey with white trim is known all around the world. The simplicity along with the cultural history is really what makes this jersey crack the top five.
3. Oakland Raiders (NFL)
The silver and black! The Raiders uniforms really were part of the west-cost culture. Rap groups like NWA all wore Raider gear because, well, it was intimidating. Nevertheless, the uniforms have never changed, anytime you see the black jersey with silver lettering, you know what it is.
2. Dallas Cowboys (NFL)
I do not know how to explain this one. Just, the white and blue is so simple and basic, but the star is what makes them stand out. The star on the helmet signifies the art of winning.
1. New York Yankees (MLB)
Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Yogi Berra, Derek Jetter... Come on. The pinstripe at number one is a no-brainer. 27 World Series and 40 AL Pennants... Geez, that uniform has seen a lot!
