Every Christmas, I always ask for a gift unique from the items that other members of my family receive. As a movie lover, I expect something that relates highly to film, of some kind. For example, last year my parents gave me the full screenplay and storyboard for the film "The Dark Knight". However, I realized that there are certain gifts from Christmas movies that would be both festive and thoughtful. These items can range from various things that someone could use every day. Ranging from 10-1, this is the top 10 Christmas movie memorabilia to gift.
10. Membership in the Jelly of the Month Club
One of the most famous scenes from Christmas Vacation is when Clark receives his work bonus of a membership to the jelly of the month club. This hilarious gag gift is sure to bring laughs. Honestly, this is an amazing stocking stuffer for the entire family.
9. Oscar Mayer Weiner Whistle
Judge Reinhold's character in "Â The Santa Clause" stopped believing in Santa after he did not get the Weiner Whistle he asked for. The whistle is not a major attribute of the movie, but any cinephile will recognize this little instrument at Christmas.
8. Red Ryder BB Gun
"You'll shoot your eye out kid" is exactly what I was told when I asked for a BB gun when I was a kid. Easily, one of the top most recognizable Christmas movies of all time, "A Christmas Story" is featured on this list two more times. The Red Ryder BB gun was not the best gift of the film, but it is still one of the most quotable scenes.
7. Christmas Napkins
This gift isn't exactly from a movie, but it is from multiple. These festive napkins have famous movie quotes from a range of Christmas movies. For sure the gift that would be used the most throughout the year. Fortunately, the napkins are not paper, so you can simply wash and reuse.
6. Polar Express Ticket
Another great stocking stuffer, the Polar Express novelty ticket is a great present. With the movie being fairly new, and a kid's movie, the ticket can be given to anyone rather than just movie fans. This gift would simply be cool memorabilia from a great film.
5. The Leg Lamp
More so a gag gift than an actually heartfelt present, the leg lamp is great for any lover of the film "A Christmas Story". This is definitely the biggest of all the gifts, but I would love to see the look on the receiving end of this gift.
4. Towels
Straight out of a classic, towels are a great way to see if a movie fanatic knows his stuff. From "Scrooged" , towels are shown to be a true sentiment to coworkers. This would be a more challenging movie to qoute, but if the movie fan is your dad, then he might catch on.
3. The Moose Mug
Another winner from Christmas Vacation, the moose mug is perfect for enjoying eggnog with the film lovers of the family. My brother has his own moose mug. Most people, non film, should already know this mug when they see it.\
2. The Bunny Outfit
It would very bunny to see someone in real life actually put this outfit on. The last item from "A Christmas Story" is the infamous bunny costume. The costume would be another gift that would work well for other people than just a cinephile. Easily recognizable, laughs will be shared to see a close one walk around with this dime on.
1. Turbo Man
Turbo Man is the famous action figure from "Jingle All the Way". My personal favorite on the list, Turbo Man is great to give any movie lover born in the early 90's. I, unfortunately, have never been giving the doll, but I would honestly rather have my father dress up like Turbo Man, as did Arnold Schwarzenegger for his son.
