Top 10 Favorites Of Fall
With Love and Light

One of the most wonderful times of the year is upon us. Fall is full of color and calmness that other season don't offer. Fall also is filled with many events that gets people together. It becomes clear why fall is a lot of people's favorite season.

1. Apple Harvest

Everyone loves a good apple harvest with the family. It's a chance to bond while also possibly picking up a few treats.

2. Pumpkin Patches

Much like apple harvest a pumpkin patch can make a great friend/family activity. Finding and collecting the perfect pumpkin can be an endeavor that takes hours, but is more than worth it. A lot of the time these patches will also have other actives like hay rides that family/friends can have a good time on.

3. Falling Leaves

When leaves fall they create a beautiful and calm scenery. It makes the world colorful before winter arrives and everything turns gray.

4. Rain

Walking home or waking up the sound of rain is one of the greatest things fall brings. A light drizzle is a staple for any great fall day.

5. Sweaters

Wearing a sweater on a chilly day is like a constant hug. They are a way to stay cute, while also being comfortable.

6. Boots

Boots are both the finishing piece to your outfit and a way to keep your feet warm and comfortable. You can't go wrong with comfortable cute boots.

7. Warm Drinks

Tea, coffee, or hot chocolate makes a fall day ten times cozier. It warms you inside and out while also being delicious. For an extra dosage of fall add some pumpkin flavoring.

8. TV Shows

Around September is when all our favorite shows come back for summer hiatus to start their new season. These shows bring families and others together while also making our lives more entertaining.

9. Halloween

I could go on for hours about Halloween. I am absolutely obsessed with this holiday and currently counting down the days to it. Halloween is one of the staple events of fall that most people enjoy and prepare for.

10. Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is the best fall holiday because it gets family together, while also remembering what there is to be thankful about. The food is just a plus!

Fall is the best season for a variety of reasons, mostly involving being close with friends/family and being comfy. It is a win on all sides.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.

College is a crazy, beautiful, amazing whirlwind. It is highly popularized in television and movies, but not necessarily in the most accurate way. Yes, there's frats, dingy dorms, raging house parties—but there's also a lot that people fail to mention.

1. If you thought that you knew how to study, you're wrong.

All of your classes aren't taught every day, so professors aren't on your case constantly about reading and memorizing material. Once you get back that "questionable" first exam grade, you'll kick it into high gear and figure out what works for you
