In the last year, worship music has become a part of not only who I am but who God is in me. Music can be such an expressive way to display feelings and emotions at any time of the way. Tired? Sad? Angry? Happy? Excited? Worship music can always be the answer and provide a pick me up when needed. I love so many worship songs but this is my current list of top 10 songs. (Not in order)

1. This is Living Now - Hillsong

If you ever just feel like jumping and dancing around this song is a must. Also can be a great opening song for a worship set.

2. Good Good Father - Christ Tomlin

The first time I heard this was at a church in Nashville and was actually lead by a woman leader. It was an incredible music experience hearing this for the first time.

3. Just Be Held - Casting Crowns

WORDS. When you are feeling defeated and life you just don't measure up this is a perfect song to listen to and make sure you read the lyrics...so powerful.

4. Clean - Natalie Grant

This song and number 3 would works great as offertory songs. What a way to get the congregation to sit and look at the lyrics and let His presence overwhelm them.

5. Open Heaven (River Wild) - Hillsong

Hearing this song at a new church I attended one weekend taught me so much. Not only do the words consume your thoughts but the way this song is very free and open for you to pour out your thoughts and praises is incredibly moving.

6. How Can It Be - Lauren Daigle

Man this girl has some pipes as her gift from God, am I right? But besides that how awesome is the text of this song when we feel so unworthy of His love yet He will always love us.

7. Rain Down / Yahweh - Cross Point Worship

These two I threw in there that not many people will know. (Yes I just put two songs per one number...I can't help it) In Nashville the church Cross Point had such a positive impact on my life and these songs have very much touched my heart. And if you have never heard Pete Wilson preach go to their website and listen to him. Now.

8. Cornerstone - Hillsong

If you haven't figured out by now that Hillsong is one of my all time favorite worship groups..well you do now! This song is so powerful with it's driving beat and building line of tempo and dynamics. He truly is the cornerstone and Lord of all.

9. Revelation Song - Kari Jobe

What a sweet tune to remind us of his sovereignty of all things and all of what we worship in His name. This songs has a special place in my heart for many reasons.

10. Ever Be - Bethel Music

Last, but certainly not least, this song is such a proclamation of faith and the everlasting promises we can hold on to. Praising Him forever will always be on my lips through it all.

Now let's be honest I could make a list much longer than this one. But for now, this is my worship song bucket list. Come back in an hour and it might have changed.

My hope in this is to inspire others to be inspired by the music of the Lord and how incredibly amazing He is. God Bless.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.
