I, like many people my age, appreciate the old Disney Channel. The new Disney Channel is a bunch of garbage. Let this article serve as an open letter to Disney Channel so they can get their sh*t together and stop with these current awful shows about dog blogging and shaking. Here are my ten favorite classic Disney Channel original shows.
10. "Lilo & Stitch"
Lilo & Stitch is a classic, because I think we all thought that monsters lived in Hawaii.
9. "Phineas and Ferb"
You are not American if you do not have a love for Perry the Platypus.
8. "The Proud Family"
This show had hands down one of the catchiest theme songs of all time, and who could forget the wonder that is Sugga Mama?
7. "Even Stevens"
Even Stevens was such a weird show, but was so entertaining to watch. This show also gave way to the psychological study that is Shia LeBouf.
6. "Kim Possible"
Naked mole rat plus baggy cargo pants equals one of the greatest animated shows of our time.
5. "The Suite Life of Zach and Cody"
I love this show. The only reason why I didn't rank it higher was because it led to the disaster that was Suite Life on Deck. The only thing worse than Suite Life on Deck was Dylan Sprouse's nude photos.
4. "Hannah Montana"
Hannah Montana was the only show that I can remember that had multiple endings. Miley was all like yeah I'm moving back to Tennesse with Billy Ray, but never mind, we got picked for another season so I guess we have to come back. But when we come back, we'll call it Hannah Montana Forever.
3. "Wizards of Waverly Place"
This was a show that gave us Selena Gomez being a sarcastic little biatch, so I think we should all be thankful.
2. "Lizzie McGuire"
The only thing that can really rival this show is Hilary Duff's "Come Clean" music video. Plus, Gordo invented the friend zone. What could be more entertaining?
1. "That's So Raven"
This was by far one of the greatest shows in television history. It gave us the Boys in Motion, and did I mention that she was a psychic before it was cool?
Honorable Mentions: "American Dragon: Jake Long," "Phil of the Future," and "Cory in the House."
Non-honorable Mentions: "Suite Life on Deck," "Shake it Up," "Dog with a Blog," and pretty much every other show that started after the year 2009.
