Most people are too scared to admit they still watch Disney Channel movies because what’s more embarrassing than a college student watching Disney Channel on a Friday or Saturday night. Not me, though. I embrace the fact that I still get the same amount of joy from watching Disney movies as I did when I was 10. These are some of the Disney Channel movies that will never get too boring to watch.
1. Life Size
Growing up, every girl dreams of having their favorite doll come to life. Life Size made that dream come to reality. Not only does it make you think that people can actually be that perfect in real life because Tyra Banks stars as the doll, but it also reminds you of how young and innocent Lindsay Lohan used to be.
2. Smart House
This is one of my favorites because I used to think that houses had real powers. Was and still am disappointed that they don’t. Wouldn’t it be amazing if you had your house programmed to make any type of food you wanted?
3. Halloweentown
When it comes to the month of October, Disney Channel never disappoints, especially when Halloweentown is on every night of the week. I will be in my thirties and still watch Halloweentown.
4. Twitches
Another amazing movie during the month of Oktoberfest, especially because it stars my favorite sista sistas, Tia and Tamera Mowry.
5. High School Musical
The movie that made everyone fall in love with Zac Effron. I would scream the lyrics to every High School Musical song in the shower. Still waiting for a High School Musical 4.
6. Cheetah Girls
“We’re Cheetah Girls, Cheetah Sisters.” The song lyrics that no girl will ever forget. Whenever the movie would be playing on a Friday night at 8:00 pm I would get all my girlfriends together and we would pretend we were in the movie.
7. Camp Rock
The Jonas brothers and Demi Lovato pair up to make the best musical summer camp. This movie made people drool over Nick Jonas for his cute charming personality, but most importantly his voice.
8. Cow Belles
This is a movie that most girls can relate to because in the movie Aly and AJ’s parents are trying to teach them to be more responsible, something parents try to teach their kids every day. Girls are so obsessed with materialistic things, but this movie shows everyone that being responsible can also mean having fun as well.
9. The Hannah Montana Movie
Every girl grew up watching Hannah Montana because it was a show almost everyone could relate to. Not going to lie, but when Hannah Montana took her wig off in the movie my heart literally dropped.
10. Jump In!
Corbin Bleu wasn’t the main star in High School Musical, but Jump In proved to everyone that this boy had talent, but most importantly, his jump roping skills were on point.
