For everyone that celebrates Christmas, as soon as Thanksgiving is over, the Christmas music beings to play throughout the house, in the car, and in any store you walk in to. The classics are always enjoyable to listen to while sitting by the fire, drinking hot chocolate, and wrapped in the warmest blanket you own or even over dinner bonding with family or driving in the car viewing Christmas lights up and down the streets. However, sometimes, you need to get in a different kind of Christmas spirit.
The remade classics by today’s hottest stars will definitely get you excited and amp'd about the best time of year. There are so many great Christmas songs but some artists do it up better than other artists. I personally very much enjoy listening to the current remakes of Christmas classics or even new holiday pop songs to be added to any holiday playlist so here is a list of my top 10 Christmas pop songs, in no particular order.
1. All I Want For Christmas is You by Mariah Carey
2. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays by N*SYNC
3. Santa Tell Me by Ariana Grande
4. Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) by Michael Buble
5. Mistletoe by Justin Bieber
6. Underneath the Tree by Kelly Clarkson
7. This Christmas by Chris Brown
8. Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy by Pentatonix
9. Last Christmas by Wham!
Of course, you can't go wrong with this classic.
10. Baby, It’s Cold Outside by Idina Menzel and Michael Buble
This holiday season has come out of nowhere and is coming in hot, with freezing temperatures and flurries. And with finals being over or coming to a close, use these songs as finals motivation to push through the finish line.
So even though you may have been listening to Christmas music for weeks already, these songs will continue to get you in the holiday spirit and pumped full of Christmas cheer.
Although you must be careful, you may find yourself singing along out loud in the library but… “the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear” –Buddy the Elf.
So maybe it’s not a bad thing. Everyone struggling will be so very appreciative. So here’s to the holiday season or 2016. No matter how many L’s you have taken this year, finish it out on a good note and jam all the way into 2017 with these current Christmas hits.
