Get your chocolate fix from any one (or more) of these decadent candies. For whatever event you plan to participate in this fall season, be sure to stock up on these chocolates. *Please be cautious and courteous of those who have food allergies.

1. M&M’s

A classic version of milk chocolate candies. After 75 years of bringing bite-sized goodness to kids of all ages, this candy is at the top of its game. With an array of colors and different flavors, there’s no reason why they shouldn’t be on this list. (The blue ones are the best).

2. Reese’s PB Cups

The chocolate covered peanut butter delight. Deliciousness/obsession at first bite! Seriously, though. Why are there people who don’t like these? I mean, I get it if you have a peanut allergy. That’s a valid excuse. What I don’t understand is the notion of disliking chocolate and peanut butter together. You know who you are.

3. Three Musketeers

See what I did there? Anyway, I believe these candy bars are the most underrated. I just don’t think they get enough attention. Dreamy chocolate mousse drenched in more chocolate. Super good! And they come in mini sizes; great for giving!

4. Snickers

They really are satisfying and they also are available in mini sizes. It’s almost the everything candy. Nuts, caramel, nougat, and chocolate—a close-to-perfect combination. And what about that advertising? They have some of the best commercials in the candy industry.

5. Crunch

Just the right amount of chocolatey and crunchy. The crunch in a Crunch bar is actually rice. I wonder how they even do that. It’s almost like having potatoes in a candy bar (They’re both starches, I mean). By the way, have you ever tried chocolate covered potato chips? They’re actually not too bad. Back on topic, mini sized Crunch bars are an option if you like the smaller portions.

6. Twix

Whether you prefer right side or left side, there’s no debate about the taste! This seems to be one of those just-about-everything candy bars but it’s just caramel and cookie enveloped in chocolate. Which is fine, simplicity is good, too. Out of the chocolate bars listed, this might be one of the more popular ones. (Right side rules!)

7. Junior Mints

Another underrated candy. Small, dark chocolate discs with minty cream centers. Sharable, but just as easily melt-able. A great addition to movie night, as well. They come in a small size, as well, but it seems like they’re harder to find.

8. Kit-Kat

Yes, we all know the jingle. Wafers drenched in chocolate with a unique, breakable design. Another shareable snack, available in a mini size. #GiveMeABreak

9. Hershey’s Kisses

The bite-sized chocolate queen. Tiny in size, but mighty in taste. They’re not reserved for Christmas, you know. A candy for all seasons, most definitely. They really are perfect. Their only fault is not being large enough.

10. Hershey’s Bar

Can’t go wrong with a thin brick of chocolate. Smooth, creamy milk chocolate; nothing more, nothing less. The finest form of simplicity. Yet, there are other versions of the brand; cookies n’ cream, almonds, and dark chocolate are the most popular besides plain milk chocolate.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
