Spending the Summer in Northern Michigan is like a dream come true. Traverse City, especially, is known for beautiful sandy beaches, the glistening waves of Lake Michigan, and easy-access to a delicious piece of cherry pie. Whether you are visiting for the 4th of July, or for the famous Cherry Festival, there is no better place to spend a Summer than Traverse City.

I have had the opportunity to spend all my summers in TC, as I come visit my family whenever I get the chance. I have learned the best spots to go swimming on a busy day, to get a morning cup of coffee, and to find fresh-picked cherries. Here are my top 10 places to eat in Traverse City:
