As many of you have heard, tragically, Louis Tomlinson's mother, Johannah Deakin, passed away a few weeks ago after a battle with leukemia. Johannah was the mother of seven children, Louis being the oldest, and she had only been married to her husband (Dan Deakin) for five years prior to her passing.

Obviously, I did not know Johannah personally, nor do I know any member of the Tomlinson family. However, through years of knowing One Direction, it feels like I know Louis, and I seriously cannot imagine the pain he and the rest of his siblings (and every member of Johannah's family) must be feeling right now.

Louis has always been known as the comedian of the group. He was the glue that held One Direction together. As a directioner, whenever you were having a bad day, Louis' weirdness could always make you laugh. Even now I can go back and watch the very first cringey video diaries from the X Factor days and feel like everything is good and right in the world.

If you don't know Louis, here are just a few of my favorite Louis moments over the years.

1. When he was the life of the party in the X Factor Video Diaries

Where it all began. They're so cringe-y now, but this is where we all fell in love with Louis- from "I like girls who eat carrots" to Kevin the Pigeon.

2. Red Nose Day 2013 with Comic Relief

The boys filmed part of their "One Way or Another" music video for Red Nose Day at an orphanage in Uganda, and it was adorable (not to mention the fact that they were able to help out some kids!!)

3. All of the LiLo, Larry, Nouis and Zouis moments

Being the oldest, even though he appeared immature, he was like a big advice-giving brother to all the other members of the band. The bromances he had with each of them, and still has with some of them, are the sweetest bromances ever, period.

3. When he was the best big brother ever

Seriously. Best. Ever.

4. When he won as a dad with this picture

This is the actual Tomlin-son (ha, get it), on a giraffe pillow, holding a football between his little baby toes, and it is adorable.

5. When he slayed this performance of his new single.

This performance of Louis' new single "Just Hold On" was shortly after his mother's passing. He admitted that it was the hardest thing he had ever done. But proud doesn't even do justice to how we felt, and how his Mum definitely felt, looking down from heaven.

There are so many more individual moments I could have included, because Louis has made me smile so many times over the years. And it's not just me- it's millions of fans everywhere. I know he is hurting like crazy right now, and that's completely justifiable. But if we can spread this message to him any way we can: Louis Tomlinson, you are so loved.

In case you're unaware, "resting bitch face" is the term used to describe when a person's natural, expressionless face makes it look like they are mad at the world. Whether they are walking down the street or simply spacing out thinking about what to eat for dinner, it's very easy for others to assume that this person is either upset or mad at them. Because of this, those of us with Resting Bitch Face (RBF), and especially us women, have all experienced many of the same situations and conversations, including:

We've all had a crush before. Whether it leads to something or nothing, the process has all been the same. The awkward feelings, the stalking, and the stress of trying to keep this huge secret. The feeling of becoming a total spazz is something that cannot be avoided, and the most spazzy family that can relate to this feeling is the Belcher's.

At the tender age of 18, we are bestowed with the title of “adult.” For 17 years, we live under the rules and guidelines of our parents, school, and government, and to stray from any of those rules or guidelines marks us as a rebel. At 18, though, we must choose which college we want to go to or what career we want. We are allowed and encouraged to vote. We can buy lottery tickets and cigarettes. We can drop out of school, leave our household, and do other "adult" things. At 18, we start down a path of thinking for ourselves, when for the entirety of our lives other institutions have been mandated to think and do for us.

Creating your schedule for the upcoming semester can be an exciting process. You have the control to decide if you want to have class two-days a week or five-days a week. You get to check things off of your requirement checklist. It's an opportunity for a fresh start with new classes (which you tell yourself you'll never skip.) This process, which always starts out so optimistic, can get frustrating really quickly. Here are 25 thoughts you have when registering for classes.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.
