I'll admit it. I care a lot about my hair. When I am getting ready to go, the one part of me that must leave my home perfect is my hair. Some see this as odd, others low-key wish they could have hair like me.

What inspired me to try so hard with my hair were the amazing hairstyles I constantly saw when watching European and international soccer games. In many sports, athletes do not put too much effort into the way they look on the field. However, this is completely different with soccer, as men try to look their best when they head out on the pitch. The men in these games are without a doubt the greatest hair trendsetters in the world. And so, without further ado, here are the top 10 best soccer player haircuts.

10. Toby Alderweireld: Undercut 2013-Present

Alderweireld has become one of the most promising center backs in the English Premier League. And a great defender must present himself with a great hairstyle.

9. Andrea Pirlo: Long Wavy Hair 2005-Present

"The Architect" has rocked this flow for as long as we can all remember. Yet, he still makes it look awesome.

8. Mario Balotelli: Crazy Liverpool FC Head Design 2014

This must have taken a long time.

7. Neymar Jr.: World Cup Frosted Tips 2014

While the Brazilian star constantly changes his hairstyle, this is probably his best one.

6. Paul Pogba: Frosted Mohawk with Frosted Racing Stripes 2014

One of the world's best midfielders must have one of the world's best haircuts.

5. Deandre Yedlin: Comb-Over with Hair Part 2014

A promising young American soccer star must find a way to get European club scouts to notice him. Yedlin did it with his extremely fast pace and his extremely meticulous hairstyle.

4. Cristiano Ronaldo: Zig-Zag World Cup Haircut 2014

This hairstyle became a huge trend amongst early and late teens for a few months after Cristiano boasted this at the World Cup. What makes this hairstyle even better is that Ronaldo sported the cut in honor of a young fan who had a scar on the side of his head from surgery to remove a brain tumor.

3. David Beckham: Slicked-Back Hair 2012-2013

David Beckham has had many great hairstyles throughout his career, but this hairstyle he sported in 2012-2013 has got to be his best.

2. Marco Reus: Dirty-Blonde Comb-Over 2013-Present

No one can rock a dirty-blonde comb-over better than the German wizard, Marco Reus. With the amount of goals he sets up, it is only fitting that he can set trends like this.

1. Gareth Bale: Comb-Over Hairstyle Real Madrid CF and Tottenham Hotspur FC 2013

Without a doubt, Gareth Bale tops this list with this disconnected comb-over hairstyle that still remains a trend today.

Overall, all of these footballers probably spend more time on their hair than even I do. But, as you can see, their meticulousness has clearly paid off.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
