Despite the fact that I have been playing Christmas music for a few weeks, now that Thanksgiving is over it is officially Christmas season! That means it is totally acceptable to watch a Christmas movie every day. Here is the top 10 list of the best Christmas movies:
1. Elf
What did we do before 2003 when this movie came out? Elf is the perfect movie to get into the Christmas spirit. Not to mention, you probably won't stop laughing through the whole thing.
2. Miracle on 34th Street
This one is the definition of a "classic Christmas movie". It shows us the whole holiday season, with the beginning of the movie taking place on Thanksgiving and bringing us all the way up to Christmas. Even though it was made in 1947, it never gets old.
3. Polar Express
It's all about believing. This movie will give you the feels... and make you want to go visit the North Pole on a magical train.
4. The Santa Clause
This is one of Tim Allen's best. Wouldn't it be cool if your dad was Santa Claus?!
5. Christmas with the Kranks
When the Kranks try to skip Christmas, it doesn't go as planned. "Christmas with the Kranks" is definitely an underrated Christmas movie, and worth the watch.
6. Jingle All The Way
Another great, but underrated Christmas movie. It's turbo time!
7. Home Alone
Even though I might have been afraid to stay home alone for a while after seeing this movie, it is one of the best Christmas movies out there. And the first one is much better then all the ones they made after.
8. A Christmas Story
"You'll shoot your eye out kid!"
9. A Charlie Brown Christmas
Who knew a cartoon could give you the feels! This one really shows the meaning of Christmas.
10. It's a Wonderful Life
Another classic that I didn't appreciate until I got older.
"Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings."
