Since my discovery of makeup gurus on YouTube, my "face-beating" lifestyle has never been the same. I live for when I can get all dolled up and show off my newest cut crease or smokey eye. Since college life is so busy, I can easily express my creativity through my makeup so I need the best products to do just that.

Let's start with the actual makeup:

1. NYX Angel Veil Primer

I am obsessed with this drug store makeup primer. Since I have normal to oily skin, its matte finish really helps mask that oil all day long. Plus the super cute packaging is a plus. If ya like what you hear... order here!

2. Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24H Long Wear Foundation

This one is a little pricey but it is soOoooOooO worth it. I'm a full coverage kind of girl with- like I said earlier- normal to oily skin. This stuff is perfect for that and lasts literally all day. I wouldn't recommend wearing it 24 hours like advertised... seriously take your makeup off at night... but for all day wear, don't you worry, this miracle product will last.

3. Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

THIS STUFF. I know I am not the only who says it is the best out there. Full coverage, all day wear and perfect applicator! They say to get a shade lighter for your skin and use it to highlight under your eyes, middle of forehead and nose. This miracle formula blends beautifully and looks flawless. Please trust me on this one.

PS: Tarte products are vegan and cruelty free! Heck yeah!!

4. RCMA No-Color Setting Powder

Super beauty gurus like Jaclyn Hill and Jeffree Starr love this stuff and SO DO I. With a lot of other setting powders, after you've applied it and then later take a picture with flash, it will show up every time. This powder not only holds everything in place all day, but never produces flashback. GOALS.

5. Jaclyn Hill X Morphe Eye Shadow Palette

So Jaclyn Hill is one of my all-time favs. I watch and rewatch her videos whenever I need some inspirations. She's hilarious, real and so talented. She worked on this collaboration with Morphe for two years, OMG. This stuff is absolutely perfect. It has every shade you could need for smokey, warm, cool, pops of color, etc. AND SO PIGMENTED!!!!!

I've been a huge fan of Morphe from the get-go because it is affordable but yet still high-end. This palette is beyond worth it. You can use all kinds of discount codes too, if ya do a little searching. ;)

6. Physician's Formula Butter Bronzer

You know the smell of the beach? The sand and ocean mixing together? The unique smell of sunscreen on burning skin? All of those smells are in this little container of magic. This bronzer is the perfect shade for really any skin tone. It goes on smooth and evenly and can give anyone that perfect beachy glow.

7. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush

I got this by chance in an Ipsy Bag. I love it so much! It's pigmented, long-lasting and BEAUTIFUL! What's super cool is that you can buy it once, or have it delivered every three months, easy-peasy.

8. Becca Cosmetics Pressed Highlight

I've tried and tried and tried to stray from this product and find a new highlighter but NOTHING compares to this ridiculously pigmented, beautiful, shimmering, magically glowing highlighter. It is the #1 selling highlighter in the world for all the right reasons, let me tell you.

9. Jaclyn Hill's Favorite Brush Collection

I am a girl who is always trying to ball on a budget. But sometimes you need to "treat yo-self" as the great Tom Haverford taught us. This set is a little pricey, BUT these brushes are high-end quality, usable for every step of the makeup process and a great combo of natural and faux bristles. Like I said earlier, I would trust Jaclyn Hill with my life- well maybe that's dramatic. But when it comes to makeup, I trust her judgment 100% and these are her ride or die babies that have become mine as well. She even explains how she uses each one on her YouTube Channel! Do yourself a favor and invest in a good set of brushes.

10. Morphe Highlight and Contour Sponge

Not a Morphe ad but DANG maybe it should be! Their products are soooo BOMB. I know I know, Beauty Blender and Real Techniques... but this sponge is amazing. Get it a little damp and your blending will be effortless.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
