Let's admit it, we all have a YouTube addiction. There are people we watch every week because they make us laugh or they're a role model to us. I, personally, watch a TON of beauty videos. Maybe even too many. Honestly, it might be a problem, but who cares? I love seeing what other people bought, how they do their makeup, or even decorate their apartment. I see these people as role models. We might not have similar personalities or styles, but it pushes me to become the best me I can be.

Out of everyone that I watch, they each upload a variety of videos. They can be anything from fashion to beauty to lifestyle to humor. Every video is different and unique and can always leave me wanting more!

There are so many YouTubers that I love, but these are my top 10:

1. Kalyn Nicholson

Kalyn's videos are so real. They touch on everyday situations in our lives that we all struggle with. Yes, she loves fashion, food, coffee, and her dog, but she also strives to become the best person she can be! She always wants all of her followers to become successful in everything they do! She's a 22-year-old living in Canada, so it's not all about the California life that most celebrities live in.

2. Jeanine Amapola

Jeanine is a down to earth girl with a heart of gold. She's also a Christian and tries to see the good in everything she does. She's a college student as well, so she definitely knows the struggles we have! She lives in Texas and has an obsession with Nordstrom. Her fashion videos are so entertaining and always leave you wanting more!

3. Mel Joy

Melody is a 17-year-old girl living in California. She is such a goofball and loves to make other people smile! Her makeup is always flawless and I wish I could do it as well as her!

4. MayBaby

This is Meg DeAngelis and she definitely does not care what people think about her! She is such an optimist and always makes me laugh! Whether it's singing, dancing, embarrassing herself, she's definitely not afraid to let her true self shine. She wants everyone to embrace their weirdness and be the person you were born to be!

5. Bethany Mota

Bethany Noel Mota. She is the reason I became addicted to YouTube. Her style is perfection and I started to learn about makeup from her. All of her haul items were extremely affordable for everyone and I really liked that about her. Even though she touches on real topics, she still never lets her goofiness fade away. Her videos are always filled with bloopers to make you ROFL.

6. MyLifeAsEva

Eva is from California and she's never afraid to be herself. Her videos are so funny and she always tries the goofiness out of her friends! Eva is definitely "totes adorbs."

7. Sadie Robertson

Not only is Sadie on Duck Dynasty, but she also recently started creating videos to motivate her fans. She is a Christian and always inspires her fans to live their most God-fulfilling life. She is extremely optimistic and such a role model. She has helped so many organizations and is willing to become a friend to all. Her heart is just filled with kindness!

8. Chloe Lukasiak

Chloe is PERFECTION! As a dancer, I wish I was as talented as her! I love being able to watch her routines and get her opinion on the dance. She also does beauty and fashion videos, so I love to see the type of person she is behind the scenes.

9. Caitlin Bea

Guys, just look at her. Need I say more? She is gorgeous. Though we don't really have the same style, her makeup is always "on point" and she always has the best ideas for handling situations in life.

10. JeanineTV

This is Jeanine Amapola's vlog channel. If you love her main channel, you will love learning more about her life! You can see the behind the scenes of how she makes her vids or even just learn more about who she is! She's films anything from shopping to her new apartment to her graduation.

BONUS: Dr. Pimple Popper (Totally not fashion, but still addicting!)

Dr. Sandra Lee is such a genius. She's a dermatologist in California and calls herself the "Dr. Pimple Popper". If you love popping those annoying little spots, you will love her videos! However, if you get sick easily, you might want to refrain because those cysts can get rather juicy!

I hope you check out some of these amazing YouTubers and love them just as much as I do!

Plus, if you have a favorite YouTuber that wasn't on this list, please let me know in the comments below! I'm always open to new suggestions!

As Jeanine Amapola would say, "Peace out girl scout!"

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Blair Waldorf
Stop Hollywood

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.
