College can be the best years of a person's life. These are the years when one can gain the best friends and make life long decisions. If you ask any college student, they can tell you some of their best experiences about college life, but they can also tell about the regrets of college life. Most people failed to make their college experience one of the best because they are unable to achieve what they actually think of. Following is the list of some most common regret one can hear from college students .

1. Wrong major

The first and utmost common regret is choosing the wrong major. The leading reason people regret the decision they made years back is either because they failed to get a suitable job in their required field or they have lost interest in it.

2. Failing to use what the campus has to offer

Majority of the students regrets not making use of the campus facilities they had. College campuses provide different facilities like libraries, gymnasiums, clubs, etc. Students are either busy in their studies or in other activities and often do not make full use of what the campus has to offer.

3. Being Single and/or in a Relationship

A great deal of college students regret the relationships they had in college. A large amount of people who were in a serious relationship regret being in a relationship early, while those who missed out because of studies regret that they were deprived of the charm of keeping a relationship in their college days.

4.Traveled less

College students, mostly travel with friends on semester breaks, an ample amount regrets not being able to travel more; completely missing out the spring breaks or study abroad opportunities.

5. Regret studying less

A large number of college students who failed to score well in college regret their grades. They believe that if they would have studied harder they might have scored better.

6. Only Making few friends

Some college students regret socializing less and barely mingling. Some tend to stick on their own cliques and are afraid or uncomfortable to meet new people. Some regret attending only a few school related activities like Homecoming and missing out school spirit.

7. Being Clueless about Student Loans

Citizens Bank for one has found out that 77 percent of the students regret they haven’t managed their student loans as well.

8. Overconfidence

Plenty of college students failed to seek advice because they felt that they know everything well, so they see little need to seek for or want an advice from anyone. However, afterwards they regret their over-confident attitude and wished that someone could have guided them through.

9. None/few working expereince

College students do not realize how important it is to get work experience during college. At the time they ignored this fact, just to enjoy their time with friends and regret it afterwards.
