Unfortunately, the #1 ranked lightweight in the UFC' "El Cuyuy" Tony Ferguson broke into the news, but it is not what the world was expecting. The former Interim LIghtweight champ has had all eyes on him since it came out that his wife filed for a restraining order after he was behaving irrationally and had been spiraling out of control. It has come out that "El Cuyuy" has continued to have numerous episodes over the course of time but not to the extreme lengths that seemed to have been happening as of recent.

In the 911 call that was made from his wife detailed what has been going on as she fears for her life, her son, and including Tony's. While there is no physical abuse happening she did this because of Tony Ferguson's mental state as she has continued to try and get him help. Ferguson's wife explained how he has continued to throw holy water on her while he is having these outbursts and not recognizing who she is.

Tony's wife got into how she has been awoken from sleep to Tony standing over her accusing her of being a witch. He believes during the surgery he had for his torn LCL a chip was planted in his knee. He has also torn up his house including saying there were people hiding in the walls. He hasn't been sleeping while acting chaotic.

The support from the mix martial arts community has been more than overwhelming during this time in Tony's life as everyone has been standing behind "El Cuyuy" on his road to recovery. Many people were shocked when news broke that it would be the #3 ranked Lightweight Dustin Poirier will be fighting the current UFC Featherweight Champion Max "Blessed" Holloway for the Interim UFC Lightweight championship while UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov goes through his suspension. Everybody immediately wondered why it was not "El Cuyuy" Tony Ferguson who was fighting Max and we have a better understanding of why now.

Dana White even shared his thoughts and agrees it would not be the best move healthwise for Tony to have a fight at this point in his life. The community has been strong with Tony as other top contenders wish him the best while Khabib Nurmagomedov said Tony needs to stop smoking. We still do not necessarily know what is going on with Tony whether it is a mental health issue or if he is experiencing another mental breakdown His wife has said that Tony went through the same kind of breakdown after the Ultimate Fighter Final he won. Many believe the issue to be CTE related.

As of late on social media, Tony Ferguson has been in good spirits as he has shared videos of counseling sessions, training sessions, and gardening on his road to recovery. It will good to see Tony make it out of this situation completely as his wife and the UFC continue to help "El Cuyuy" in any way they can.

5 Things To Do That Are Better Than Writing A Paper

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?

I can barely remember back when I was the only child. Most would say it’s because it is extremely difficult to remember things as a toddler but I would say it's because I was bored until my sister came along. My mother always says how important the "sister bond" is and with every year that passes I realize how right she is. Instead of writing a novel about all of the wonderful things there are about having a sister I decided to list a few of them instead.

It is the time of our lives that we are beginning to enter the adult world and most of us, if not all of us, have no idea what we are doing. It's like starting a video game, but skipping the tutorial. We're all just running around aimlessly hoping we accidentally do something right that moves us along the right path. Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.
