Dear High School Me,
These four years of your life are going to be the best you have had so far, but they will also be the most challenging. High school will bring about some of your best friends but you will also lose some. This is okay. Never forget who you are. There will be peer pressure, but just stay true to you and you will be fine. There will always be someone wanting you to change, and if they truly care about you, they won't pressure you to change unless it's for your good.
There will be moments of doubt and sadness, but there will also be moments of pure, unexplainable joy. You will probably have your first kiss, which will not be the best. You will also have your first love, and I hate to tell you he will probably not be the man you end up with.
Your grades are not the end of the world. Strive for the best you can do, but remember to have fun and to not get caught up in the books. High School is one of the last times you can have fun without worrying about money
Tell your friends and family how much they mean to you, you never know when your last time talking to them will be. Don't worry too much, you are having just as much trouble as the person in the desk next to you.
Finally, you can and will get through it. Try not to let it get you down. You are unique and don't let anyone try to change that.
