To You, My Favorite

For when you are away

To You, My Favorite

To the boy who stole my heart, you are my favorite.

You pick me up when I am down, put up with me being a brat (all the time) and you love me in the moments most would not. You are the boy I have been looking for, for quite some time. I am falling in love with everything about you. You make me feel beautiful and important. You make me laugh when I need it the most, and most importantly you laugh at all my dumb jokes or laugh at me for laughing at my own jokes, who knows. I love the memories we already have, whether it be pushing each other off the paddle board or having a water gun fight with my siblings. I love that you put up with my ridiculous Taco Bell orders, and love that you don't judge me for being a lard. You push me to work out yet buy me ice cream every other day and I love it. Even though we haven't known each other for long, I am so glad I met you and am excited to spend my future with you.

You are my favorite. You make me smile each time you text me and every time you call me beautiful I still get butterflies. I love when you try to be spontaneous even though we both know you love to plan ahead. I love that you still get nervous around me and my family, but still are comfortable around us. You get jealous and mad, but at the end of the day you still know I am yours. You are dorky and cuddly and everything I have ever wanted. I will always make fun of you for your lack of direction and your constant need for movement, but those little things are what make me like you the most. I think it's funny that you like words so much, and that you teach me some new word each day. And you aren't the average boy, like when you were watching soccer and said to me, "they use such good adjectives." I kinda love/hate how you love dogs so much, like you may have a problem. No one in their right mind would stop and park their car every time they see a person walking their dog, but you do and I kinda love it. Those little things are what makes you the person you are today.

You are a great and kind individual, and I know you are going to do great things in your career as a vet. You are passionate and caring and have such a good head on your shoulders. I am so proud of you for everything you have done in your life so far and for everything I know is to come. I figured I would write this article for you to read when you are away all next month for the Army. I am going to miss you kid and I can't wait for you to come home. Though you aren't gone yet, I am dreading every minute that you are away. Thank you for being you, my favorite, my Tinder Soulmate.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
