Have you ever met someone unexpectedly that you create an instant connection without realizing it? This sort of thing happens to me all the time and it’s not just because of how many close family friends my family has or how social I’ve become. It’s basically because the moment you’ve met that person they have left a mark in your life.
You want to believe it’ll go away right off the bat because you think you’ll never see this person again. Well guess what? That’s not the case at all whatsoever. You don’t have to be friends with someone to see them everyday or a few days a week. It can be a boss, your co-worker, anyone you met or know in your area; any one of these people can leave a mark in your life.
That mark doesn’t have to be left right away. For me it just happens that way because I became a people person on very good days. For others it can take days, weeks, months, heck even years if you are truly that unsure. Eventually, that time will come and that mark will be made in your life.
How does one leave a mark in your life? Well. if you read one of my most recent articles about this topic you would know for sure someone has left a mark in your life. Briefly, whether it be the amount of conversations you had with the person, letting then be a shoulder to cry on or just any amount of generous acts the person has done for you or your friends, that’s just the simplest of ways a single person can leave a mark in your life.
So for those who currently leave a mark in my life (this counts for those in my past too), I can not thank you enough. Mostly, because the mark you left on me helped me become the person I am today instead of staying the shy little girl I was when I was younger and helping me not fade back on that track. Please keep doing what you’re doing because it seems to be working.
