Thank you.

I notice how hard you’re working. I notice how hard it is to maintain your strength some days. I appreciate all that you do. You have been an inspiration to me beyond belief.

You wake up every morning and take your babies to daycare; something I know hurts you because you value your time with your kids. You go to work every day and work long stressful shifts; I know you'd much rather be doing other things.

Although you're not always smiling, I know you ALWAYS treat everyone with the respect they deserve. You never take your frustration out on others. After a long day of work, you pick up your kids - something I know you’ve been looking forward to all day - just to drop them off at home, and rush to school to just barely make it to class.

I know how hard it is for you to barely see your kids all day, but I also know that all you do is for them. I know they're the things you treasure the most in life. They know it, too.

The truth is, when I first met you, I didn’t know what you were about. But as I got to know you, and you became closer and closer to me, I realized that you are the person I want to become.

I want to be as driven as you to continue to pursue an education, no matter what life throws at me. I want to be the person who is always kind, no matter what life throws at them. I want to be a loving mom to my kids (if one day I decide to have them) regardless of how busy my life is. I want to be the type of person that, no matter how busy I am, I’ll still take the time to love and enjoy my friends and family.

I know life hasn’t been easy on you. You deal with things that I couldn’t imagine going through. You handle it all gracefully and respectfully. You put up with a lot of people demeaning everything you do. I know you feel underappreciated, and sometimes you don't get the recognition you deserve, so I’d like to thank you on behalf of everyone in your life.

You are an amazing mom, sister, fiancé, friend, coworker, and just overall an amazing human. You’ve made these decisions and done these things for your kids, basically all alone. I know that there are women like you all over the country and the world who don’t get the recognition or the appreciation they deserve.

So I’m taking a moment to not only thank you but all the women that are strong and undeniably beautiful, inside and out, just like you. Thank you for everything.

Please know that someone in your life sees you and looks up to you. All that you do is not in vain. You have the power to move mountains, and you are going to change the world, one day at a time. I hope you continue to pursue all of your dreams.

Sincerely,

A young woman who admires and loves you.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
