To the teacher whose shoulder I leaned on throughout high school, thank you. To the teacher who taught me more about life & myself than I ever would have learned on my own, thank you. To the teacher who was with me for the years of my life where I was learning who I was, thank you.

I cannot recall how many times I came into your class throughout the years and just talked your head off, and you managed to listen. All the tears, friends, & hardships I went through, you knew about. You gave me advice after advice, hug after hug, and lesson after lesson. Some years I didn't even take your class, yet still I found myself in there almost daily.

I grew a lot through the past few years, and you've definitely been a huge part of it. I think we've taught each other a lot. So from card games, to hardships, & everything in between, thank you for it all.

Graduation day will be hard for numerous reasons, but saying goodbye to you will be one of the top hardest things to do on the list.

Thanks for being a teacher who turned into so much more.
