With September 11th coming and going just a short week ago, I have done a lot of thinking about what that day actually means. It isn’t just a day to be sorrowful, but a day to remember those men and women who were innocently killed by the attack on the World Trade Center; it is also a day to remember those brave heroes of ours that went in to save many lives, while risking their own in the process.

Many of us have seen the memorial dedicated as the “9/11 Memorial Fountain” which is located at the site of the former World Trade Center complex. The design is said to convey hope and renewal. While in a bustling city a place of quiet and remembrance is almost impossible, the two enormous waterfalls counteract the usual city noise to create a peaceful ambiance.

However, unlike the “9/11 Memorial Fountain” many of us have not seen the “To The Struggle Against World Terrorism Memorial” , also known as “Tear Drop Memorial.” It is a sculpture, which stands in Bayonne, New Jersey and is 10 stories high. It was given to the United States as a gift from the Russian government.

There is an opening in the middle of the tower, with a large nickel based teardrop. The base of the monument bear the names of the men and women we lost on that terrible day.

With so many of us never hearing about this incredible memorial, I encourage you to go out, do research on that horrible day, and truly remember what a blessing it is to live in this incredible country.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.
