Thank you.

Thank you for cracking silly dad jokes in the middle of lecture to try to keep people interested. Even when we don't laugh, we appreciate the effort.

Thank you for taking the time to learn each of our names. Of course, we aren't a lecture of 200 students, but we are sizable enough that it's difficult to memorize names by the end of the second week.

Thank you for giving us an excessive amount of resources and practice exams, and giving us colored paper and laminating paper to make permanent study guides.

Thank you for paying attention to my grade, and caring when it slipped. Most professors wouldn't even notice, much less take it upon themselves to reach out. You emailed me, advised me to come to office hours, and walked me through every question I had (and I had a lot).

Thank you for caring. Caring about your job, my performance, your performance, and my grade. You put in the effort I have yet to see any other professor put in at Lehigh.

I never mind going to your class, or feel like it's a burden, even though it's the first class I have every Monday and Wednesday, and the ONLY class I have on Friday. I want to listen, I want to learn, I want to understand. And that is because of the effort you put in, and the care that you show.

So, thank you. Thank you very much.

If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
