I’m only a sophomore, and I can already tell that I’m going to be that alumnae who looks back on my college years as one of the most memorable times in her life, all because of the people she met. I’m so blessed to go to a school where I’ve had the opportunity to meet an incredible amount of kind, supportive, fun-loving people that I wouldn’t have otherwise met.
Thank you for being my study-buddies. Studying for an exam, writing a paper, or doing homework in general is never fun, but being surrounded by people undergoing the same amount of stress is somehow really comforting.
Thank you for cheering me on. It’s the little things, from wishing me good luck on that test I’d been stressing out over to congratulating me when I found out I aced it, that I appreciate so much.
Thank you for the spontaneous trips to get coffee, ice cream, or food in general at any given point in the day.
Thank you for giving me people to share my love of Netflix with.
Thank you for giving me a shoulder to cry on and for providing a positive atmosphere when I’ve had better days.
Thank you for the laughs, the life-talks, the memories we’ve shared and the memories we’ll create in the future.
Although I don’t say it as often as I should, thank you for making college my home away from home.
