Thank you.

Thank you for everything you have managed to teach me in my life time. You taught me to always do my homework, how to play sports and be a good teammate. You taught me the tricks of the trade and helped to make my life a whole lot easier. You taught me a lot of things, but most important of them all, you taught me how to be a good person in this corrupt world. A lesson that not everyone has the privilege of learning.

You taught me more than just saying "please, thank you and you're welcome." You taught me more than holding the door open for the person behind me, more than always leaving a tip after a meal, and more than giving my seat up for someone older than me. You taught me how to live my life the best way possible; filled with love, kindness and respect. You taught me how to be a beautiful person both inside and out.

You taught me that I should say hello to every one I see, and that I should compliment strangers in order to make their day better. to give my time to help someone else out. You taught me that there is always time for family, friends and yourself. You taught me that I should wear a smile at all times in order to help brighten someone's day.

You taught me to laugh at everyone's jokes whether funny or not, because you never know who needs to feel appreciated. You taught me to appreciate the little things like someone remembering your favorite color, or the sun setting after a rough day. You taught me that everything in this world is for a reason, and that the only way to live right is by living life to the fullest. You taught me to not only respect my elders, but to give everyone respect, as long as they show that they deserve it. You taught me that evil can't be fought with evil, but instead, it can be conquered with love. You taught me that the ability to listen to others and be honest are two things that should never be taken for granted.

You taught me how to laugh at myself when I make a mistake, and how to love myself when I'm having trouble doing so. You taught me that this world may not always be the happiest or kindest, but that does not mean you have to change who you are. You taught me to look for the good in others, to give others chances and how to forgive. You taught me that everyone make's mistakes, but that doesn't mean they are their mistakes.

You taught me more than I thought I could ever possibly learn. You filled both my mind and heart with lessons that I will hold on to forever and never forget. You taught me how to be a good person in this world, to never change who I am and that love, kindness and respect should always come first. You taught me how to live my life right.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

A Loving, Kind and Respectful Human Being.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
