Life is messy. We constantly have things thrown at us that we don't think we can recover from. We have a bad day and tell ourselves that we can't get back up. We get yelled at in class, something goes wrong at work, a friend decides they don't want to continue the friendship anymore, or a lover tells you that they don't want you anymore.

These are just a few situations that people around the world are going through as we speak. Every single day, we face hardships. We have days where we feel like everything is going wrong, days that we don't even know what to do with ourselves anymore.

These situations can result in feeling lost. At the point where one feels lost, they don't know what to do with themselves. Multiple things go bad and suddenly, we start to question everything in our lives; even the good. We question our jobs, our majors, our schoolwork, our family life and our relationships. Nothing feels right anymore and we don't know what to do.

But, here's the thing about being lost. It is TEMPORARY.

The one thing that people don't understand is that it's normal to feel lost.

In life, we have to question things more than once because we want to make sure we're making the right choices. We have to go through hardships because they will make us stronger in the long run.

Feeling lost in life is crucial at least one or twice, or honestly however many times until we feel like we finally have it figured out.

DO NOT settle for a life that you don't believe is good enough for you.

It's okay to feel lost.

It's okay not to be okay.

I promise you, that no matter how you're feeling right now - you're going to find your way home.

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
