To The One Graduating College...

One semester early. Thats something to be proud of! You have conquered through, looking back on so many memories and laughs you will never forget. There is so many things you have learned, grown from and know more about yourself now compared to 4 years ago. Time goes fast, but you are so ready to see all the things that are to come. Here are some reflections that are to take with you...

You made the best decision going away

Last minute decisions are often the best. You were the last one to want to go away, but days before you stepped outside of your comfort zone and went with Utica College. The next 3 and a half years you found your second home. You wouldn't have been so bold if you stayed comfortable, not growing. Im proud of you and Utica will always be your place.

The friends you met will always hold a piece of your heart

The ones come and go. There have been ups and downs, but your true friends were found near and far. Whether it was your best friend that you met on a bus in Ireland that you still connect with or the one who's been there since orientation, these are your people. Be so blessed to have them in your life, no matter how or where they are.

The lessons in the classroom were more deep than you thought

This one is legit. Who knew a gym class with freshmen your senior year would impact you the way that it did. You learn way more than surface level, with so much to take away in the future. Your education is what you make of it, and you made it worthwhile. Those professors make a big impact on your next steps.

What you thought you wanted has changed.. and that's ok

So what you went to school for one thing and coming out wanting another projection? This is the best time to figure it out. You are growing your professional development and realizing your strengths. So go out and do what you love and have a passion for, you will be great at it!

You learned to value the little things

We can sometimes get carried away with the big moments, when the little moments are slipping by. You see to value the car drives with your best friends, game nights and deep talks. These things make the big moments less stressful, life doesn't have to be all that stressful and crazy when you sit in the small things.

There is so much in store after this chapter

The time has come. As you are saying your goodbyes to the people you love and the place that became your second home, don't harp too much. There is so much to look forward to after this chapter. it can be a time full of emotions and confusion, but God has the future planned for good. Take hope and trust that. Be grateful for all that has come and what is to come!

Christmas Tree

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
