I can only hope you realize how lucky you are. Loving him is one of the easiest things to do, but what’s hard is getting him to love you back. Please take care of him. There are going to be things about him that will annoy you, but they’re what makes him who he is.

He’ll have moments where you absolutely question everything, but if he does tell you he loves you, trust me, he means it. Falling in love with him won’t be something expected if you’re anything like me, you’ll be sitting there smiling at his texts and then it’ll hit you. You’re in love. I know it doesn’t seem like it, but he’s incredibly shy. He may not even kiss you on the first few dates because he’s scared to ask, so please be patient with him, he’ll get there. He doesn’t normally text that often, but for you, he’ll text you every chance he gets. You’ll absolutely adore his family, they’re loud, but they are also some of the best people you’ll ever meet, and they’ll make you feel right at home. There are a few other things you need to know about him though. His laugh is quite loud, but it’ll be like music to your ears.

He’s one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet and he’ll do anything for his family and friends. When he calls you his girl, make sure he knows how much you like that. I never did. His eyes are going to slowly become your favorite color, and you’ll look everywhere just to see it. I wish I could describe that amazing color for you. When he wraps his arms around you, you’ll feel and incredible amount of safety and warmth. His respect for his mother and father will be like nonother than what you’ve ever seen before, and it’ll make your heart melt. That smile of his. I can go on for hours trying to describe how it’ll make you feel, but no amount of words that I can string together will do it justice. He wishes he was an inch taller, and it’ll be the cutest thing you’ll ever hear. I hope you can handle being told some personal things, because he’s got a lot of stories to tell you.

The one thing I beg of you though. Never forget to tell him how much you love him. I will regret not telling him that, but I’m glad he’s met you. I hope that I’m still around to meet you, so that I can see exactly what he sees in you.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
