To The Man I Marry

I can't wait for forever with you.

man and woman lakeside proposal

Yes, another article about the man a girl is going to marry. I wanted to write this because love is so important to me, and falling in love and spending your life with the right person is so important. God has another person out there for us, which is why I pray for Him to send me that man I ask for in my prayers.

To the man I marry,

I just want to start this off by saying I have been praying for you my whole life. I pray for the characteristics and qualities I want in you. I pray for your well-being and your life. I pray for you and I, our relationship together. I pray that you are the man I always dreamed of. I pray to God that he sends you whenever the time is right. I hope you are a Godly man. I hope and pray that you love God more than you love me, that your relationship with Him is the most important relationship of all. Make sure we go to church every Sunday, and if we can't make it on the Sunday, let's go on Wednesday.

Instill God in my life and make sure He is a part of me. Also, please be gentle with me. I am a girl, and will forever have the girl tendencies. When I cry, hold me tight. When I am happy, enjoy it with me. When I am angry, remind me of the positives in life. When I am sad, give me all the love to remind me that this is a wonderful life. I want every day to be magical with you, good and bad. Let's let the good outweigh the bad. If you promise to make me feel like the most special woman in the whole world, I promise you will feel appreciated and adored every day.

I plan to spend my life cherishing you and every little thing about you.

I plan to start a family with you.

I want our children to never doubt the love we have for each other. I want them to be disgusted about how in love their parents are. I want them to grow up desiring to have a love like ours. Even though I'll love my children with every ounce in my body, you are still more important. You are the reason I will have those beautiful children. We are a team, and we will face everything together.

Now, I want to warn you, I will not be at the best of my ability every day. Some days will be rough days, and some days I'll be hormonal as all hell, but I promise if you stick through it and put up with me, you will not regret this. I was put on the earth to love in the way Jesus did, and without a shadow of a doubt, I know I will love you in that way. Be my protector, giver, lover and most of all, my best friend.

Be weird with me and laugh with me until our stomachs hurt. Let's go on date nights, even if that means sending our kids away for the night. Let's go adventures and make memories that we can tell our children, and one day even our grandchildren.

Respect my mother and love her like she is your own mom, because she is my best friend, and I need her approval (which I'm sure you will get from her). Most importantly, love me for who I am. Accept my flaws and my mistakes. I am not perfect, but I sure will try to be for you. I promise to give you my all and to love you for eternity.

To the man I marry, I love you, and I can't wait to spend my life loving you.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
