To The Gypsy Soul

A rebel soul, with a whole lot of gypsy.

To The Gypsy Soul
“Do not take this soul for granted, for she is fierce, and she can take you places that you never thought you could go; but she is still loving in the midst of it all, like the calm after a storm, she can bring life. Learn her, and cherish her, respect her, and love her; for she is so much more than a pretty face, she is a soul on fire.” - T.B. LaBerge

Do you ever feel like you need to be somewhere you are not? Maybe that's what they mean by a gypsy soul.

A gypsy soul is someone who is always in need of change, or adventure. It's the ideas and experiences that inspire them and give them such a passionate view on certain things in life. It's a fire in their soul that never dies, and a mouth they can't seem to ever control. They speak with how they feel, and never take things lightly. They feel everything, and love so, so deeply. They have a strong love for the unknown, and keep their heart directly on their sleeve. They never are sure what they want out of life, but they are determined to find out.

Dance to the beat of your own heart.

Sometimes our hearts and souls aren't meant to be in one place, or loved by just one person. Its often meant to be somewhere we haven't gotten to explore yet, and given to the people we have not met yet, or have yet to hear our story. A person with such a wild heart should make you fear their love, so that when you are lucky to be apart of it, you won't take it for granted. And if they do break your heart, they will never apologize for it.

Blessed are those who do what makes their soul happy.

You will realize that there's a little bit of gypsy in all of us. Love with all you have, and never let someone tame your free spirit.A gypsy soul never gets tied down, and never says, "what if".

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
