You make it easy.

One Monday night I got a message from you. You messaged me about how beautiful I was and how you wanted to know if I’d go out on a date sometime. I’ll admit your messages did make me smile but I didn’t think much of it. But I figured why not, I love going on dates and you’re easy on the eyes which helped. I said yes that night but I didn’t expect it to turn into anything special.

We quickly began texting every day whenever we had time too. Good morning and goodnight texts became the norm and I found myself looking forward to these little things. Still I told myself it’s just one date it doesn’t mean anything. Well I was wrong and I’m so glad I was.

We hung out a few days in the row and by the end of our first date I was hooked. You made me smile and laugh more than I had in a long time. I never could have imagined myself falling for someone the way I fell for you but i wouldn’t change it for the world.

You’re one of the most amazing people I have ever met in this world and you inspire me to be a better version of me each and every day by loving me the way you do. So thank you for all the things you do. I know I’m not always the best at expressing my emotions but here is some of the things I want to thank you for.

Thank you for asking me out on that first date even when we barely knew eachother.

Thank you for seeing me for me, not many people do.

Thank you for looking at me the way you do, it’s what hopeless romantics like me dream of.

Thank you for making it so easy to love you and so hard to stay mad at you.

Thank you for spoiling me with love and attention....and well food

Thank you for the goodmorning and goodnight texts I have recieved everyday since we’ve been together.

Thank you for all the smiles and uncontrollable laughter.

Thank you for the unforgetable memories we have made together.

Thank you for making everyday with you an adventure.

Thank you for brightening up my life with that smile of yours.

Thank you for being such much more than just my boyfriend.

Just, thank you for being you.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
