To the guy who cheated,

I hope those three months with that other girl was all you wanted it to be and so much more. I hope that she was worth losing the best thing that has ever happened to you.

You did not deserve to be loved by her. You did not deserve her grace, her soul, her beauty and her mind is far beyond what yours will ever amount to. She filled your life with an endless amount of happiness and laughter. She loved you with every part of her body and you threw it away like it never meant anything to you. For what, a few months with some other girl?

She will never be able to look at you the same way she did before. The light in her eyes when she saw you will no longer be there. The grin from ear to ear that appeared when you said something sweet is no longer there. The way she looked at you before you chose someone else over her, is no longer there.

Right now she is overwhelmed with hurt, stupidity, and hate. She trusted you to be faithful. Now looking back, she can't help but wonder if those two years were a waste of her time. She cringes at the sound of your name. She can't help but wonder if you told the other girl the same things you told her. She can't help but ask herself why.

The wall of trust that she has built has come crashing down. For a while she will question why she wasn't good enough for you. Then the day will come that she will realize that this wasn't her fault. It was your decision to cheat, not hers. There will come a day that she will be so much stronger because of the pain you put her through.

So go ahead and move on. Don't think about calling or texting her because she won't answer. Save yourself the trouble and let her go. She has already moved on and soon you will realize that what you had can never be replaced. You will want her back because you miss her, but already she's long gone.

One day she will find someone that truly adores her, make her laugh a lot harder, smile a lot bigger, and will love her more than you ever could.

So thank you. Thank you for showing who you truly are because now knows what she deserves and she will not settle for anything less. And when she finds that guy, she will be glad she never settled for an ass hole like you.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
