Dear Mom, my one and only, my superwoman,
Thank you. I feel like I can say this to you every day (which I hope I've managed to do), and it still wouldn't be enough. On behalf of my brother and dad too, thank you. We all know this household could not function without you - not even close. Thank you for leaving your home so my brother and I could get a better education and a better life. I know it was tough. (I know that it still is). There isn't a single thing or any number of things that will ever show you how grateful I am.
Thank you for every home cooked meal that makes everything else I eat seem bland. Thank you for every present. Thank you for every kind word. Thank you for the times you knew exactly how to make me feel better. Thank you for the times you wouldn't leave my side when I was up all night feeling sick.
There are many sacrifices you've made that I'll never even notice. But I do know the biggest one, and so do you. Thank you for all of them, especially that big one. I'll always be grateful for it.
When it comes time for me to wear my gown and graduate, I'll be ready because of you. I'll be thinking of you too. If it weren't for your encouragement and your strength, I know I never would've made it.
Happy birthday mom!
Love, Buket
