For The Girl Who Loves Him Next

This man means the world to me, even though he s no longer mine to love. He is wonderful and kind, and sometimes he can be the weirdest person. He may not always be the most emotional and you probably won't always be able to know what he is thinking, but he will show you how much you mean to him. He will shower you with gifts that won't necessarily mean much to someone who doesn't know him but will make you feel supported and loved. He will tell you how beautiful he thinks you are, but if you argue about how beautiful you are, he will give up. He will support you and always try to help you fix your problem, but he will get discouraged if you consistently argue or ignore the advice. He may retreat into his shell, but he will be there for you.

I know that he deserves the world, and I know he deserves a girl who loves him unconditionally. I will always love him, I will always cherish him, but we found ourselves getting the timing all wrong. He thrives in avoiding uncomfortable situations just like we all do, but he will sit there and let you share all of your frustrations. He is the sweetest guy, but he makes mistakes and you need to tell him how much you support him. You will make mistakes too, and he may not always tell you about it, but he doesn't hide his disappointment well, so you can fix it.

He's got funny little quirks that make him so amazing, whether it's putting Sriracha on almost everything, and unconditionally loving French toast and bread pudding. He will get excited about dogs and show references that you may not always understand but it encourages you to want to watch the shows so that you can make him feel loved. He loves naps more than anything, and if he finds a blanket he loves, especially if it's yours he wil get excited. He will want to take you on adventures and he will love seeing you experience everything.

I hope you remember how lucky you are that you found someone like him, and remember to be patient. Avoid making the mistakes I made, avoid being petty and avoid the silent treatment. Be willing to talk it out and support him whether he is making you crazy. Love him like there is no one else in the world. I know I would give anything to change things so I could show him how much he means to me, but I hope that you treat him the way he deserves.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
