Rush is a scary process for all girls hoping to join a sorority. Most of this fear comes from the unknown questions we cannot answer. Such as, "what if they think I'm weird?" or "I think our conversation went well but I can't tell."

Many girls tend to build expectations going into rush and let me tell you as someone who has been through the process, that is the worst thing you can do.

Going into recruitment with a clear mind is vital. However, if you were the girl who did have expectations that did not turn out how you planned, everything is okay. Just like getting rejected from your "dream school" or not making it to the mall before it closed, everything happens for a reason.

As corny as this sounds, you are going to end up where you are supposed to be.

Yes, rejection hurts. However, do not let that stop you from dropping rush. Explore your other options and meet the people who want to meet you! It might be upsetting and confusing at first but if you give it time you will soon see that the sorority you ended up in is where you were meant to be.

Do not let rejection get in the way of you reaching out and meeting new people. You might not realize it at first but you are going to end up where you are supposed to be.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
