Love him so fiercely he never knows loneliness. Slowly, his walls will come down. There will be days when it feels as if there is nothing you can do. The best thing you can give is your time. Just be there. Leave him little reminders of how much you care. He may never admit how much they mean to him, but you will feel it when he holds you. Let him know he is not in this alone.

Build him up. Please take the time to understand how he feels about himself. Once you know, pour love into him. Never be afraid to tell him how you feel. Sometimes he needs a hand to get out of a dark place and you'll have to be the one to pull him up. I promise once you see that smile of his, you will never stop.

Know how lucky you are. He is so good and so willing to love. He just needs to know you appreciate him. I won’t ask you to love him the same way I did. I know that’s impossible. God, I am so jealous. I won’t even try to deny that. I also won’t ever try to compromise what you have. The only thing I ever wanted more than him, was his happiness.

He deserves the kind of love that moves mountains and lights up his world. Please give him that.
